SMART DOG'S ALERT'S EXCLUSIVE RUN-THROUGH PREVENTER
How it works . . .

Smart Dog systems are loaded with advanced features that set them apart from lesser containment systems. Especially important for your dog's safety is our exclusive Run-through Preventer.

In regular operation, the signal zone comprises three stages:
1. A two-second warning tone to remind your dog to stay in the yard.
2. After two seconds, if your dog does not move back, it receives a correction at the level at which you set your transmitter. (This takes place at six feet from the boundary in the example below.)
3. If the dog ignores the first signal and continues toward the boundary, it receives a high level (four feet from the boundary in the example below).

A Smart Dog receiver has the ability to override the warning tone if your dog tries to run through the signal field. This is very important for your dog's safety because a dog running 20 miles an hour can easily cover 30 feet in one second. IN other systems, the dog is through the signal field while the receiver is still in "warning" mode! Other products compensate for this fault by eliminating the humane warning tone altogether. A dog contained in one of these lessor systems NEVER gets a warning, even when it accidentally wanders into the signal zone.
